Trey and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on July 16th. The following weekend I went to Mobile to celebrate with him. He took me to dinner at Kitchen on George. He had been before and always talked about how good it was. He was right. It was delicious.
We ordered a bottle of the Selbach, several small plates and one large plate.
Grilled Shrimp & Butter Corn “City” Cakes – pan seared local shrimp with goat cheese corn palenta
Misoyaki Glazed Salmon – Misoyaki marinated with a Sesame Vinaigrette
Wok Broccoli – ginger, garlic and Hoisin blended and sautéed
Crab Cakes – Alabama lump crab sautéed and served with two sauces and served with fresh fruit salsa
Pork Tenderloin – seared and crusted served with a red wine barbecue sauce, Conecuh and pepper sauté with mashed and fingerling potato combination
My favorite was the Wok Broccoli but everything was so good. We ordered the chocolate cake to-go.
