Danielle Walker’s Against All Grain Celebrations is my idea of the ideal cookbook. Don’t let the idea that it is a gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo cookbook steer you away.
Walker gives you full menus for almost every occasion you can think of. She starts with everything you need for a New Year’s Eve cocktail party and then moves on to a Game Day Buffet menu. My favorite menus would have to be a tie between the Summer Shower with recipes like chicken salad biscuits, lemon lavender bundt cakes and a mimosa bar and the Christmas Breakfast which includes recipes for cinnamon rolls, sausage breakfast casserole and gingerbread lattes. However, I am most excited about trying the homemade ginger ale recipe. I love a good ice cold ginger ale.
She also gives you inspiration for tablescapes and serving ideas in the photos throughout the book. The photos are just gorgeous. They all make me want to throw a dinner party for every holiday!
