Biscuits are one of my all-time favorite foods so when I came across Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits on a list of top breakfast spots, I knew we had to go there while we were in Chicago.
Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits is located in Logan Square, a neighborhood northwest of the city. It is one of the most charming restaurants I have ever been to. Seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. They do have picnic tables outside but luckily we were able to snag an inside table since it had been raining earlier and the outdoor seating was drenched.
Anna ordered the Avocado – smashed avocado, pickled fresno, chilis, queso fresco, cilantro, mole spice, biscuit. I tried a bite and it was delicious.
I ordered the Sausage – ginger sage sausage patty, cheddar cheese. biscuit, seasonal jam with a side of their hash brown casserole. The hash brown casserole was served in a cast iron pan. Just take a look below at their menu, how cute is that.
I cannot recommend Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits enough if you are in the Chicago area. I do wish I would have tried one of their pies but did not have any room left after the amazingly delicious biscuit.
